Where are your locations?
We have two central Madison locations:
Atwood at 2929 Atwood Avenue (608-244-2161) and
Hilldale at 4506 Regent Street (608-441-6918). Both locations are easy to get to whether you’re coming from the east or west side of the city. See details at

What are your salon hours?
Our Hilldale location is open Monday–Thursday 8–9, Friday 8–6, Saturday 8–5, and Sunday 9–5. Our Atwood location is open Monday–Thursday 9–8, Friday 9–4, Saturday 9–5, and is closed on Sundays.

What’s your cancellation policy?
We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. We send confirmation reminders by text and email two days and one day before your appointment, so even if you forgot to pencil us in, we got you.

Do you offer an apprenticeship program?
We do! Our apprenticeship is a hands-on, two-year alternative path to becoming a stylist right here in Madison, without the traditional classroom route. You’ll learn cutting, coloring, and client care working side by side with experienced stylists.

Do you do balayage and highlights?
Absolutely — color is one of our specialties. We offer a full range of modern dimensional color services including balayage, foilage, lived-in blondes and brunettes, rooted blondes, and full blonding, all using Davines color.

What’s the difference between a “lived in blonde” and a “full blonding” service?
A “lived in blonde” service is ideal for a seamless, grown-out feel. Full blonding uses techniques like balayage, foils, and babylights to achieve high-impact dimensional blonde. Both start with a consultation to keep your hair healthy.

Do you offer color corrections?
Yes, though they require a consultation before booking. Color correction is priced at $100/hour and is the right path if you’re dealing with box color or a previous service that didn’t go as planned.

What types of haircuts do you offer?
All our haircuts begin with a relaxing scalp ritual and finish with a blow dry. We offer cuts for adults and kids, plus formal styles/updos and transformation haircuts for big changes. Prices start at $35+.

Do you offer smoothing or keratin treatments?
Yes! Madison humidity in the summer makes smoothing treatments very popular. We offer Smoothing Keratin Treatments starting at $310, plus permanent waves and American Waves.

Do you do hair extensions?
We do — both hand-tied and tape-in extensions. To keep your hair healthy, a consultation is required before your first appointment. Hand-tied is best for finer hair, while tape-ins are great for adding volume or length.

What facial services do you offer?
We offer 60- and 90-minute Signature Facials, Luxury Facials with dermaplaning/red light therapy, PCA peels, and more. Your skin therapist will create a personalized plan at each visit.

Do you offer lash extensions?
Yes — we’re certified in Xtreme Lashes®, which are applied one strand at a time for a seamless, natural look. We offer intro sets, full sets, and fill packages.

Do you do brow lamination?
We do! Brow lamination gives your brows a set, lifted shape for about six weeks. We also offer lamination with tint if you want extra definition.

Do you offer manicures and pedicures?
Yes — our Tips & Toes services are available at both locations. We offer gel manicures, the Barking Dogs pedicure with aromatherapy, and Pure Focus options.

Do you do waxing?
Yes, we offer a full waxing menu including facial waxing, legs, arms, and Brazilians. Men’s waxing is also available (back, chest, neck, nose, and ears).

Do you have services for men?
Absolutely — we offer men’s waxing, facials, manicures, and pedicures. Our hair menu also includes beard/mustache trims and line-up/neck shaves.

What hair care brands do you carry?
We carry Davines for hair — a professional brand committed to sustainable beauty. For skin, we carry PCA Skin® and Colorescience.

Can I buy products at the salon?
Yes! We retail Davines haircare, PCA Skin, and Colorescience at both our Atwood and Hilldale locations.

How often should I get a haircut?
Most guests come in every 6–8 weeks to maintain a cut, or every 8–12 weeks for longer styles. Trims every 10–12 weeks help keep ends healthy if you’re growing it out.

What should I do if I’m unhappy with my service?
Please let our Guest Care team know before you leave. Hair adjustments can be scheduled within 7 days of the original service at no charge.

How do Wisconsin winters affect my hair color?
The cold, dry Madison air can cause hair to become brittle and color to fade. We recommend Davines color-care products and botanical treatments to lock in moisture.
